The NOMRA Club HO Layout at O'Keefe Ranch
Our Clubhouse Layout: “The Shuswap and Okanagan Railway” is a 36' x 18' display built in HO (1:87) scale. During the O’Keefe Ranch operating season, the layout is automated with full sound at the press of a button. This runs from May-Oct each year and sees thousands of visitors annually. The layout realistically depicts local topography & industries and is DCC controlled. The layout is fully sceniced depicting local topography and industries. Control and operation of the layout is by Digital Command Control (DCC). Members are continually upgrading industries and refining the track plan
The NOMRA Club N Scale Layout at O'Keefe Ranch
The club has a portable or modular layout which it takes on the road to various events and shows. This layout measures 34 feet by 16 feet and features three continuous show loops. Like the permanent layout, it is also DCC controlled. In the past it has been displayed in locations ranging from Vancouver to Edmonton. Transportation of the modules is by a dedicated trailer and our volunteer members.

Okanagan Landing Museum Layout
Members of the North Okanagan Model Railroaders Association have created and maintain an HO scale model railway diorama depicting Okanagan Landing in 1914. The diorama, housed in the Historic Okanagan Landing CPR Station at Paddlewheel Park, was sold for $1 to the Greater Vernon Museum and Archives by NOMRA in 2014. The diorama, museum artifacts and photographs can be viewed by the public on the second floor of this satellite museum.
